It is officially Fall! At least according to the calendar-keepers; Fall arrived on September 22nd, and none too soon for me. You can see the early signs of fall on the farm in the picture on the right above. Our dogwood trees are covered with beautiful crimson berries. The second picture is from the North Carolina mountains, soon our color will match that of North Carolina!
We now have our windows open, cinnamon scented candles around the house and a big pot of bean soup simmering on the stove. Won't be long before we crank up the fire place!
